How I got from product management to running AI programs.
I spent four years at ION Solar, first as a product manager and then as a senior product manager, building enterprise platforms used across 30+ offices and managing a team of six. In 2025 I started driving AI adoption there, first in software development, then customer service and recruiting.
In late 2025 I moved to One Planet Group as AI director, leading AI transformation across Buyerlink and the group's other operating companies. I find operational bottlenecks, design pilots against them, and turn the ones that work into production systems. None of those teams report to me, so most of the job is influence.
